SHINE
An Anthology of Healing

This book is a collection of 19 different stories. Stories of women who have stepped out of adversity and into greatness! Survivors of rape, incest, abandonment, drug abuse, alcoholism, child molestation, multiple divorces, low self-esteem and much more. The stories are gripping, heart breaking and joyful as these ladies tell you how they were able to overcome, not only what was done to them but, what they did to themselves. It's a book about growth, healing, discovering your worth, and knowing your story matters. You will be able to relate to at least one of these stories if not more.

The Girl Next Door

I didn’t have a true relationship with anyone other than my little dog Buzz, a miniature greyhound and extremely skinny whom I loved dearly. I took him everywhere. People would often laugh at him over the way he looked. I could identify with not being accepted as the norm.
